LABOR INDUCTION AND SUPPORT CLASS 4 CEUs

Course Description:
Join us for 4 hours of learning healing touch and emotional rapport skills.
Support the pregnant, laboring and postpartum client. Doulas, birth teams and massage therapists are all welcome.
This class can be taken as a stand alone segment or in the process of completing ALL 5 SEGMENTS to receive a certificate of completion for the 6 Day Pregnancy Massage Training which will land you on our websites referral list.

You will learn hands-on therapeutic touch to:
- Start Natural Labor Induction
Know when it is safe to start an induction session
Learn acupressure and massage techniques to help stimulate labor
Learn ways to bring comfort to your late term client - Labor Support
Help to progress labor and stimulate strong uterine contractions.
Ease labor pains.
Support the hip and low back during labor. - Postpartum
Learn The Milk Let Down point to stimulate MER
Support the neck and shoulders of the nursing, postpartum client.
Self care healing touch: Neck tension unwinding to support the doula, therapist and client.

Cancellation / Refund Policy
Cancellations of at least 30 days prior to start date, before event receive 50% refund on course purchase; less than 30 days prior, nonrefundable. Due to limited attendance and availability, we cannot guarantee refunds for attendee cancellation requests. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for refunds for airline, hotel, or car reservations.
Physical Demands of Course:
This course requires significant manual dexterity. It requires strength and stamina for standing while working on another body that keeps up at a classroom pace. If you feel that physical or cognitive challenge of this live course does not meet your needs we have private or home study courses which will. Some students may have disabilities or learning differences that might make the course challenging, even with the home study option.
